Please let us know how you found out about us:

Financial hardships should not keep those with AML from getting the care they need. While medical treatment and care are typically the primary costs, we acknowledge that there are other expenses that can prevent patients from getting the care they need. We would like to help with those needs.

To be considered for a $300 stipend, please fill out the financial assistance request below. Your request must include proof of an AML diagnosis to be considered. Feel free to email us if you have any questions.

We would like to announce the creation of the Katie Wesley Financial Assistance Fund, named in memory of Katie Wesley, an AML warrior who recently lost the battle against this devastating disease. Barbara Knight credits Katie as one of the reasons she is alive today. As an AML patient herself, Barbie had the good fortune to meet Katie through social media. Barbie was immediately taken with Katie's upbeat attitude, strong faith in God and a determination to make the most of every day. Anyone with an AML diagnosis can apply for a $300 stipend from the Barbara Knight Foundation. It is intended to help ease the burdens of everyday life, whether it’s used to cover a utility bill, pay for a babysitter or transportation to a hospital, we know every bit helps. It's an honor to name this fund after Katie.

Due to the passing of Barbie, our founder, the fund is currently closed while we improve our process to provide financial assistance and support.
